Hello, I’m Caitlyn Nixon, the founder and namesake of Caitlyn Nixon Birth Services. It’s a pleasure to introduce myself to you, and I’m truly excited to be a part of your journey into parenthood.

My Background

I am a birth and postpartum doula, breastfeeding educator, and a passionate advocate for natural childbirth. My own experiences as a mother have deeply influenced my approach. I have personally navigated two inductions in a hospital setting, one with an epidural and one without any pain medications. These contrasting experiences have given me valuable insights into the diverse and unique needs of birthing individuals.

Professional Experience

My professional background is rooted in Behavioral Health, with a specialization in trauma. I acquired this expertise during my service as a soldier. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges that can arise during birth, and I am dedicated to providing compassionate support to help you navigate them.

Training & Specialization

I have received special training in birth trauma and postpartum mood disorders. My commitment to supporting the emotional well-being of birthing individuals and their families goes beyond my role as a doula. It extends to addressing and healing the emotional scars that can sometimes result from challenging birth experiences.
